Initially there are three points of contact to ensure that together we help you hear better - notably:-
1. The Free Hearing Test
2. The Fitting Process On the day or within a few weeks if a custom-made hearing aid is required.
3. The Progress Call Soon after fitting - to make sure you are satisfied with the performance and operation of the hearing aids.
This is followed by our Long Term Commitment - involving routine service calls free of charge.
The Hearing TestThe consultation will comprise of different hearing assessments all carried out to the British Society of Audiology standards:-
Hearing History EvaluationThis allows us to understand your problems so we can direct you to the right solution. Otoscopic ObservationAn examination of your outer ear, canal and tympanic membrane (ear drum) with the aid of an otoscope. Audiometric EvaluationA presentation of sounds to determine the minimum decibel levels that you require to just hear different tones. Full Explanation of ResultsAn opportunity for you to understand your hearing and how it can be improved. Demonstration of Improved HearingWith a suitable hearing system, we can demonstrate the benefits you can expect from correctly prescribed hearing aids. Selecting your Hearing SolutionThe point at which your needs are matched to the right hearing system that meets both your hearing and cosmetic requirements. The FittingWe will return with your hearing solution to explain all that you need to know about how to hear better, the fitting will comprise of explanation and demonstration on:-
 | Inserting and removing of your hearing aids |  | Use of any additional features |  | Battery changing |  | Cleaning and maintenance to ensure optimum performance and hearing |  | Overnight Storage |  | Setting of a rehabilitation program to enable you to adjust to a new hearing experience |  | Explanation of ongoing service and support |
The Progress CallWe are confident that you will be completely satisfied with your new hearing aids. Every new user is contacted to discuss their new hearing experiences.
If required, a further visit will be offered at no charge to you so that any advice or assistance can be provided.
Our Long Term Commitment Our services to you are not short term but will last for the life of your hearing aids. We will contact you regularly to offer on-going hearing assessments and hearing aid maintenance or reprogramming if appropriate.
